Division for Government ICT Management and Skills

The Division for Government ICT Management and Skills plays an important role in ensuring high levels of professionalism in government ICT projects and system portfolios.

The division is secretariat for the National ICT Council and has an advisory role for ICT operations in the Danish public sector across ministries, as well as operating the Government Digital Academy.

In its advisory capacity, the Division for Central Government ICT Management and Skills has developed two cross-governmental models: one for ICT projects (the ICT Project Model) and one for ICT system portfolios (the ICT System Portfolio Model).

A third main responsibility of the division is operating the Danish Government Digital Academy, which provides civil servants with the skills and tools necessary to manage in an increasingly digitalised world.
