Public consultation about the next generation of Digital Post

30-08-2016

In Denmark, the Agency for Digitisation is responsible for supplying a national solution to send digital post from public authorities. The Agency for Digitisation is also responsible for developing the solution and therefore wants a dialogue with potential suppliers about the initial direction for the next generation of Digital Post.

Dialogue with the market about the next generation Digital Post is important. The Agency for Digitisation is therefore preparing a consultation process to run from mid-September 2016 to mid-October 2016. Suppliers, authorities and organisations will be invited to a consultation prior to a specification of requirements and a tendering procedure. The objective of the consultation is to provide valuable input for the initial direction for the next generation of Digital Post. This is to provide the Agency for Digitisation with the best possible foundation to describe and procure a solution that is fully in line with user needs and the possibilities on the market.

Content of the consultation and comments

The Agency for Digitisation is inviting feedback on the preliminary framework for the next generation of Digital Post, including comments on business needs, tendering strategies, the it-architecture, time schedule, etc.
