Lars Frelle-Petersen is resigning as Director-General for the Danish Agency for Digitisation

26-06-2017

Lars Frelle-Petersen enters as Deputy Permanent Secretary for public sector innovation in the Danish Ministry of Finance, where he will be responsible for the ministry’s ambitious work on the Coherency Reform of the public sector (a reform to ensure a coherent and seamless public sector for citizens).

By doing so he is leaving the Danish Agency for Digitisation for which he has been heading since 2012.

For the past five years, digitisation has become a central point in the development of the Danish society, and the Agency for Digitisation has played an active part in this development.

Deputy-Director Rikke Hougaard Zeeberg, who has been a part of this major process of change since the autumn 2012, is appointed Acting Director-General. The vacant position will be published as soon as possible.
