If you contact the Agency for Digital Government, the Agency will process the personal data contained in your inquiry in order to handle and respond to it.
If you wish to exercise your rights as described below in section 9, the Agency will ask you to submit your inquiry via Digital Post in order to verify your identity.
The legal basis for our processing of your personal data in connection with handling inquiries from you is Article 6(1)(e) of the General Data Protection Regulation about the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority.
You are encouraged not to provide your CPR number or sensitive personal data via email to us, but instead to use Digital Post if it is necessary to include such information in your inquiry. If you include your CPR number in an inquiry to us, we will process it in accordance with Section 11(1) of the Danish Data Protection Act. If you include sensitive personal data in an inquiry to us, we will process it in accordance with Article 9(2)(g) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as we are obliged as a public authority to process and respond to the inquiries we receive.

In certain cases, the Agency for Digital Government will be obliged to disclose personal data to other public authorities if it is determined that your inquiry falls within the remit of another ministry.
We transfer your personal data to the Agency’s data processors, who assist with the operation and administration of our IT systems.
If your inquiry is a request for access to documents originating from another authority than the Agency for Digital Government, it may be relevant for the Agency to consult that authority in connection with processing your request for access. In this context, the Agency will disclose the name of the requester (you).
The Agency for Digital Government uses Microsoft 365 to support the Agency’s case processing, including the receipt and response to emails. In certain cases, personal data may be transferred to Microsoft’s sub-processors outside the EU/EEA. Any such transfers will be made on the basis of the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and appropriate technical and organisational measures.
When the Agency for Digital Government receives an inquiry from you, your inquiry will be registered in the Agency’s case and document management system.
Information about you in the Agency’s case and document management system will be transferred to the Danish National Archives for storage in accordance with the archival legislation after the end of the journal period in which the case was closed.
For a period after the end of the journal period in which the case was closed and transferred to the Danish National Archives, the Agency will still have access to retrieve the information in a historical version of the journal period in the system.

The Agency for Digital Government does not transfer your personal data to recipients outside the EU/EEA.
The Agency for Digital Government stores and processes your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the specified purpose of the processing. If you no longer wish to receive newsletters, you can withdraw your consent, and your email address will then be deleted.

You can always withdraw your subscription to a newsletter. You can do this either by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one of the newsletters you have received, or by selecting the newsletter(s) you wish to unsubscribe from in the subscription box on this page, entering your email address, and clicking "Frameld" (meaning unsubscribe). Your personal data will then be automatically deleted no later than 14 days after the unsubscription has been completed.

In connection with sending information about the user panel, the Agency for Digital Government uses a data processor, SurveyXact, to assist with the collection of personal data and the distribution of the information.
The Agency for Digital Government does not transfer your personal data to recipients outside the EU/EEA.
The Agency for Digital Government stores and processes your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the specified purpose of the processing. If you no longer wish to receive information about the user panel, you can withdraw your consent, and your email address will then be deleted.

If you submit a complaint about an intermediary service to the DSA Supervisory Authority, the Agency for Digital Government will process your personal data for the purpose of handling your complaint. The Agency will only process personal data about you if you are submitting the complaint as a private individual or if you file a complaint on behalf of a sole proprietorship. If another person has submitted a complaint on your behalf, the Agency will also process personal data about you.

In connection with processing your complaint, we may disclose your data to the company you are complaining about. This is done by forwarding it to the competent authority in the EU member state where the company is established. You will be notified if your personal data is forwarded.
The form you use to submit the complaint is provided by the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority. The Agency for Digital Government will therefore also transfer your personal data to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, which acts as the Agency’s data processor.
The Agency for Digital Government does not transfer your personal data to recipients outside the EU/EEA.
When the Agency for Digital Government receives a complaint from you, your complaint will be registered in the Agency’s case and document management system.
