This is the sixth year in a row that a significant majority of respondents say they are satisfied with the public portal borger.dk.
The portal borger.dk is the gateway to the Danish public services where citizens can find information and use digital self-services from public authorities. A new survey shows that 9 out of 10 visitors at borger.dk say they are satisfied with the portal.
of the respondents are ’satisfied’ or ’very satisfied’ with borger.dk.
Respondents to the survey were asked how satisfied they were overall with borger.dk, and the results show that satisfaction with borger.dk is high across all age groups.
As well as feeling satisfied with borger.dk, 9 out of 10 respondents said that they feel safe using borger.dk. And it makes no difference to the level of satisfaction whether you visit borger.dk from your mobile phone or from your computer. This is the third year in a row that mobile users express as high a level of satisfaction as computer users.
When citizens have an errand, a problem to solve or information they need, more than 7 in 10 of those surveyed find that they succeed when they visit borger.dk. This is a slight increase compared to last year.
It is very positive that citizens are increasingly finding what they are looking for within the public sector when they visit borger.dk. Not least when we observe that more and more people are using borger.dk. We are constantly developing borger.dk in close cooperation with the many authorities that have content on the portal, and the focus is always on a good user experience.

Peytz conducted the user satisfaction survey for the Agency for Digital Government in November and December 2022. The responses were gathered via a pop-up questionnaire survey on borger.dk with 5,119 responses.
Borger.dk is a common public portal, which is operated and developed in cooperation between the state, the regions and the municipalities. The portal provides access to the authorities' self-services and information about the public sector in one place. The Agency for Digital Government is responsible for the development, maintenance and operation of borger.dk.
In 2022, borger.dk once again set a record for visitors, with a total of 72 million visits. In the previous record year, 2021, the number of visits reached 70.7 million.
Over the past five years, borger.dk's annual visitor number has increased by almost 85%, from 39 million visits in 2018 to 72 million visits last year. To put that number in context, the total population of Denmark is 5.8 million.
