For the fourth consecutive time, the UN ranks Denmark's digital public sector as the best globally in the E-Government Survey 2024, released on September 17.
Denmark's digital public sector has been named the best in the world for the fourth consecutive time in the UN's E-Government Survey.
The survey assesses the progress of public digitalization among all 193 UN member states. It has been published every two years since 2001.
The evaluation measures three key indicators that assess digital public services, infrastructure, and the education level of the population. Denmark scores highly on all three underlying indexes, ensuring its top position.
The UN report acknowledges leading countries, including Denmark, for their strategic and comprehensive approach to public digitalization.
Additionally, Denmark receives commendation for its proactive stance on public digitalization, particularly its digitalization strategy and citizen engagement.
