At the Agency for Digital Government, we are working on implementing the eIDAS- and Single Digital Gateway Regulations
The eIDAS- and Single Digital Gateway regulations, concerns enabling access to Danish self-service solutions with electronic ID (eID) from other EU/EEA countries.
As part of the implementation of the Single Digital Gateway regulation, the Danish eID-gateway and NemLog-in have been integrated with each other If a Danish authority wants to offer a log-in option for EU/EEA citizens with non-Danish eID, it is possible to use their existing integration with NemLog-in. That way authorities only need to maintain one integration with Nemlog-in, rather than maintaining integrations with both Nemlog-in and eID-gateway.
Read more about this, and see technical documentation on Nemlog-in's website.
For authorities that want to connect a self-service solution directly to the eID-gateway, which is only prioritized in cases where integration with Nemlog-in is not possible, please refer to the old integration guide on digitaliser.dk (Danish only)
See the current operational status of the eID-gateway on digitaliser.dk
The Agency for Digital Government has compiled an information package for Competent Authorities covered by the Single Digital Gateway Regulation (SDGR), including actions that the Authorities should undertake (only available in Danish), as well as communication material for use by Authorities covered by the SDGR.
The purpose of the information package is to inform Competent Authorities about the central and decentralized implementation process, in order to support their SDGR-implementation.
