At the Agency for Digital Government, we are working on implementing the eIDAS- and Single Digital Gateway Regulations.
If a public authority wishes to offer a login option for EU/EEA users with a non-Danish eID, they have the following options:
• Integration via Nemlog-in
• Connecting directly to the eID Gateway
As part of the implementation of the Single Digital Gateway Regulation (SDGR), work is being done to connect NemLog-in with the Danish eID Gateway.
In the future, authorities that offer digital self-service solutions will be able to integrate to the Danish eID Gateway via their existing integration with NemLog-in. The integration is expected to be ready August 2025.
Danish authorities who wish to integrate with eID Gateway, without using NemLog-in, must integrate their self-service solutions to the Danish eIDAS infrastructure.
Authorities who are looking to connect their digital self-services to the Danish eID Gateway are encouraged to read the instructions available at digitaliser.dk (only in Danish)

The Agency for Digital Government has compiled an information package for Competent Authorities covered by the Single Digital Gateway Regulation (SDGR), including actions that the Authorities should undertake (only available in Danish), as well as communication material for use by Authorities covered by the SDGR.
The purpose of the information package is to inform Competent Authorities about the central and decentralized implementation process, in order to support their SDGR-implementation.
In the Agency for Digital Goverment office for eID and Apps we are working with three EU-regulation. For questions regrading the Danish implementation for eIDAS-regulations please contact:
