The strategic-collaborative approach across levels of government has created a digital mindset and the vision of a digital public sector.
Since 2001, Denmark’s central, regional and local governments have cooperated strategically to create the foundation for the future digital public sector in Denmark. The cooperation is based on joint digital strategies for the public sector, which are implemented through multi-annual agreements about the direction of digital development.
