Project description

The Agency for Digital Government assists projects that wish to submit a grant application under the CEF-2 Digital programme with authority coordination. In order to receive a "Letter of Support", you must submit a short project description to the agency.

Your project description must be approximately one to three pages in which you provide:

  • a short description of the project and its purpose,
  • a description of how the project meets the requirements set by the EU Commission in relation to the specific initiative. The requirements are described in the work programme for CEF-2 Digital as well as in the dedicated call document relevant for your particular project (various call documents can be found on the right),
  • a description of why the implementation of project should be prioritized,
  • an overview of any business partners (nationally and possibly other EU countries), and
  • a clarification of whether the project is exclusively national or cross-border.

Send the above-mentioned project description to the agency, in order for us to:

  • Coordinate between relevant authorities in order to prepare a Letter of Support.
  • Coordinate between relevant authorities in order to prepare a security guarantee, if needed.

As part of the project proposal, the agency must approve that the project is eligible to apply for EU funding.

  • This is done through a "Letter of Support" involving several authorities.
  • For some projects a security guarantee is required. The Danish Centre for Cyber Security (CFCS) needs to be involved if the project includes providers of electronic communication networks or services that are subject to CFCS regulation in the telecommunications area.
  • If the project is cross-border, the agency will have to engage in dialogue with the relevant foreign authorities in order to sign a Letter of Support.

The agency encourages applicants to send a project descriptions before the above-mentioned dates, as the authority approvals take time.

The proposal must be submitted to the EU-Commission 13 February 2025 17.00 (CET).
