The purpose of the Division for Financing, IT-Governance and Security is to contribute to the financial management of the Agency for Digital Government, ensure integrated IT governance across the agency’s major IT systems, and maintain a high level of security within the agency and across all systems.
Employees in the Division for Financing, IT-Governance and Security contribute to and support the continuous financial management of the Agency for Digital Government. This includes budgeting the Agency’s activities and projects as well as follow-ups on finances within the Agency. Additionally, the division is an integral part in the financial agreements and procedures prior to proposals for the Finance Act as well as the Finance Act itself.
Financial management of the Agency’s major IT systems is a key responsibility. The division contributes by preparing business cases for large-scale IT projects, which qualify cost estimates and assess potential societal benefits. These business cases also form the basis for submissions to the Danish Parliament’s Finance Committee. Furthermore, the division is responsible for ongoing financial follow-up on the joint public-sector IT systems funded by the state, regions, and municipal actors.
The division is responsible for governance activities related to the Agency’s major IT systems, including monitoring the Agency’s IT systems and communicating their operational status on digitaliser.dk. The division further supports other divisions within the agency in their use of agile methodologies and is responsible for the Agency for Digital Government’s IT Action Plan.
In the Division for Financing, IT-Governance and Security we aim to ensure a high level of cyber and information security across the IT systems that the agency is responsible for by doing risk assessments, implementation of ISO 27001, the technical minimum requirements and NIS2.
Secure operations are key a key priority for the Agency of Digital Government which we support through incident management, contingency plans and crisis management.
Additionally, the division promotes a strong security culture and awareness among all agency employees through courses, phishing exercises and awareness initiatives.
