Legal Division
The Legal Division provides legal counseling in areas such as administrative law and data protection law as well as contract and procurement law for all divisions in the Agency for Digital Government.
The Agency for Digital Government's Legal Division broadly supports the Agency's specialist divisions and directorate with legal counseling and task solution.
The Division provides legal counseling in areas such as administrative law and data protection law as well as contract and procurement law.
The Division assists with the implementation of the Agency's large IT tenders as well as quality assurance of the Agency's procurement both by concluding new contracts, but also by contract management and changes to existing contracts. In addition, the Division is in charge of drafting the Agency's bills, coordinating access to documents cases and handling tasks in connection with data protection law, including drafting data processor agreements, information texts, handling requests regarding the rights of data subjects and security incidents.
The Ministry of Finance has a DPO unit, which is organizationally located in the Division of Law and works across the authorities within the Ministry – The Agency for Governmental IT Services excepted.
We are approx. 20 employees, who are distributed in the contract unit and the public law unit. The Division is headed by a division manager, the contract unit has a team coordinator and the public law unit has a team leader with personnel responsibilities.
