The purpose of the Division for Financing and Support is to contribute to the financial management of the Agency for Digital Government and support the daily management and internal IT of the Agency. Furthermore, the Division for Financing and Support coordinates the citizen and business-facing support of the Agency for Digital Government’s large IT solutions.
The employees in the Division for Financing and Support contribute and support the continuous financial management of the Agency for Digital Government. Concretely, this entails budgeting the Agency’s activities and projects as well as follow-ups on finances within the Agency. Additionally, the Division for Financing and Support is a crucial part in the financial agreements and procedures prior to proposals for the Finance Act as well as the Finance Act itself.
Further, the financial management of the Agency of Digital Government’s large IT solutions is a central task within the Division for Financing and Support. Here Division employees contribute with business cases for the large IT solutions qualifying the estimates of expenses and societal gains. The business cases are also the basis for acts for parliament. Within the division, employees are also responsible for the continuous follow-up of the joint financial collaboration on the large IT solutions between state, regional, and municipal actors.
The Division for Financing and Support contributes to the work and purposes across the Agency of Digital Government through the daily management of the Agency’s physical environment. This task spans from the optimization of the employee canteen to the guidance and coordination of relocations or renovations within the Agency.
Additionally, employees within the Division for Financing and Support handle the internal IT of the Agency, i.e. providing employees with relevant IT solutions and accesses as well as the continuous collaboration with the Agency for Governmental IT Services.
The Division is furthermore part of the joint user support for a number of the Agency for Digital Government’s IT solutions as well as joint collaborative IT solutions, i.e. MitID, Borger.dk, NemKonto and Digital Post. The Division for Financing and Support holds the coordinating role and thus mediates between the support management within the Danish Business Authority on the one side and the relevant Digital Government divisions and IT suppliers on the other. In other words, employees in the Division for Financing and Support contribute to the coordination and streamlining of support for citizens and businesses alike making sure that requested help is qualified and cohesive across IT solutions.
